It’s never easy to say goodbye to a beloved pet. Sometimes, sharing the news of a pet’s passing with others reopens the emotional wound over and over again.
A TikToker from Charleston, South Carolina recently shared a video of her regular pizza delivery driver learning that her dog crossed the rainbow bridge recently. Dave, who works for Domino’s Pizza, is the usual person to deliver pizzas to her home about “once every two months or so.” Every time he comes, he brings along some dog treats for her dog, and she wondered how she’d break the news to him when he arrived.
She needn’t have worried. Domino’s Dave took the bad news in stride. Instead of sharing dog treats, he pulled out a handful of cat treats for her curious kitty!
“He carries cat treats, too!” she said with emotion in her voice.
Sometimes, it really is the little interactions that matter the most!
