Passenger Spots Inquisitive Baby In The Seat In Front Of Them & Surprises Mom With Special Gift After Their Flight

Close up of a baby sitting in someone's lap on a plane. The baby smiles wide as he looks toward the person capturing this moment on camera

When people notice they’ll be sitting near a baby on a plane, they (understandably) get a bit nervous. Babies tend to hate planes (also understandably) and this leads to lots of screaming and crying. Fortunately for Andrea Quinteros, the baby sat in the row in front of her was pretty chill. In fact, it seems that all he did was curiously look back at her between the seats. With this simple action, the baby stole Andrea’s heart.

If you take a look at Andrea’s social media accounts, you’ll quickly discover that she’s a crochet expert. So, she chose to put her skills to use. How? She decided to crochet the cutest little booties for this stranger’s baby. Although Andrea’s video doesn’t indicate how long the flight was, honestly, it doesn’t even matter. The fact that she managed to make these booties in time to give them to the family is amazing! Speaking of which, check out this wholesome interaction below…

“Baby Paulo kept looking at me through the seat and giving me the cutest smiles… so I knew I had to make him something,” Andrea shares in a social media post. “I sneakily asked [Mom] how old her baby was so I could get to work on the plane ride. I’m so glad it all worked out and Paulo seemed happy with the booties hehe.”

Kind Woman Takes the Time to Crochet the Cutest Little Booties for a Total Stranger’s Adorable Baby

In Andrea’s video, we briefly see a note that she left for Mom. Based on a translation of the note, she acknowledges that this interaction may be “weird” but that she made some booties for her baby. She also asked for permission to capture and share the moment on camera. Although Andrea was nervous about how her kindness would be received, it’s clear Mom and baby loved the surprise — and so do folks online!

“I bet they’ll always remember that flight & the sweet soul who stitched those booties,” someone points out in the comments, another person adding, “These little kind gestures surely make the world a better place to live.”
