2nd-Graders Have Cutest Conversation When Their Teacher Drops Off Virtual Class.

Students and teachers alike have gotten pretty good at participating in virtual classes during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Among other things, they’ve learned to roll with the punches when it comes to internet connectivity.

A second-grade teacher was giving a lesson over Zoom at Parkland Elementary School in Texas one day when her connection suddenly cut out, leaving her students to fend for themselves for several minutes. When one observant child noticed the session was still being recorded, they all agreed to behave themselves in case the teacher and principal watched the video later. “Yeah, we’ll be toast,” another kid agreed.

“Mmm, toast,” said a more distracted student. Next thing you know, they all had toast on the brain! Watch their adorable conversation play out in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story.
