Parents Wake Up To Sweet Note From Their Son, And Even Sweeter Surprise Waiting Downstairs!

Close up of a handwritten note by a little boy. It reads: look ford [forward] to Saturdays, you don't have to make breakfast!

When you’re a kid, you spend all week looking forward to the weekend. The same is true when you’re an adult, of course, but Saturday and Sunday look much different once you have kids of your own. It seems that this is something that one of Caitlin Teal’s sons recognizes about his own parents. Because one Saturday, they woke up to an unexpected note proving their son is even more thoughtful than they realized.

They found the note hanging on a wall in their room. It read, “Look [forward] to Saturdays, you don’t have to make breakfast!” That’s right — this sweet kid plans on making his own breakfast, along with his little brother’s, on Saturday mornings! In fact, Mom and Dad already have footage of him doing just that.

In the video, we see Caitlin’s kid going all out in order to make a delicious breakfast. We’re not told exactly what he made, but we can see that he includes eggs. In fact, it looks like he went through the effort of creating tasty omelets!

You might think that a kid this young would leave a mess after all that cooking. On the contrary, this young chef cleans up as he goes along. In fact, he even takes the time to vacuum — even adults can take notes on this kid’s process!

“It’s the vacuuming for me,” his proud and grateful mom writes in the caption of her video.

In the end, it seems that his endeavor to make his own breakfast is a success. Both him and little brother sit down to eat together and enjoy some Saturday morning cartoons — as they both very much deserve.
