The stage was set. Warriors prepared for battle on two fronts. On one side, a table of pacifists with one stodgy old duffer determined to start a kerfluffle. On the other side, a battle-hardened female soldier is willing to defend her territory. And thus, the infamous paper straw fight began.

The man fired first. Carefully setting up his paper straw wrapper and taking aim at his son across the table. He began the fight with one healthy blow. Air is a fickle mistress, and his aim was off. He struck a target at the next table over. The woman at the receiving end of the errant missile was taken by surprise but would not let it end there. This was war, and she was all in!
She grabbed a paper straw and readied it to enter the fight. Taking careful aim, she let fly with a retaliatory strike. Her aim was off, too, and the paper straw wrapper landed between the man and his wife. On seeing the missile waft by, the wife began laughing as she turned to see its point of origin. The husband noticed the spent missile and added his laughter, offering a hearty thumbs up to the warrior across the room.
Both tables erupted in laughter over the impromptu paper straw fight. With both tables laughing uncontrollably, this proves you are never too old to have fun. The man who started the battle is near or beyond 70. The woman defending her territory looks to be between 45 and 55.
With no children at either table, there was no harm to children during this humorous battle.
