Turns out orangutans know a thing or two about fashion! Lola Testu learned that firsthand on a visit to an Indonesian zoo. As she was admiring the primates, she accidentally dropped her sunglasses into an enclosure. When one of the orangutans came over, Lola began to record what was happening on her phone.
In a video she posted on TikTok, we see the curious creature slowly approach the sunglasses. They play around with the shades a bit before finally realizing how to put them on. Even one of the baby orangutans takes an interest in their new accessory!
What an unforgettable moment! Lola agreed, captioning her post, “So I’m down a pair of sunglasses but up a very good story.”
