Modern technology isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be. Here’s an example: when this truck driver got into a sticky situation, it took some good old-fashioned cowboys on horses to pull the vehicle loose. Even with a huge trailer attached, it was easy work for these beasts of burden. Talk about horsepower!
A video of this impressive rescue has been going viral on social media. In the clip, four cowboys came to the aid of a stuck vehicle. They attached their horses to the truck so that the powerful animals could pull it, and then they carefully rode forward. In no time, both truck and trailer were extricated!
Originally, J. Himel Farms had uploaded the footage with a country song. This clip received over six million views! However, one commenter demanded to hear the victorious cheers of the cowboys after pulling the truck free with their horses.
“We need it without music now!!!” they wrote. “We gotta hear the hooting & hollering to feel this!!!”
As it turns out, the farmers were more than happy to oblige. We’ve got to say, hearing these cowboys celebrate their successful rescue was worth an additional post!
A truck with horsepower has nothing on actual horses.
It’s amazing that, with all of our modern conveniences, you still can’t beat doing things the old fashioned way at times. One of the funniest things about this video is that the trailer was probably intended to transport the livestock, not the other way around! Commenters loved seeing these horses pull the truck out of its predicament.
“If only those horses knew what they just accomplished,” wrote one user.
Another added, “How can we send those horses some treats?”
It’s a shame that these horses don’t know they’re famous for pulling that truck free, but we’re sure their owners treated them to something nice after all that hard work!
