When your neck is as long as a giraffe’s, getting someone to massage it is no easy task — thankfully, that’s what this chiropractor does for a living! Dr. Joren Whitley on TikTok shared the most incredible video of himself working with one of these beautiful animals. In the clip, he’s kneeling on an elevated balcony so that he can reach the giraffe’s head. He gently cradles the creature’s face while slowly turning it to the side, stretching their neck.
Of course, the most adorable part of this video is the giraffe’s reaction to the chiropractor’s treatment. Once Dr. Whitley is finished, the animal gives him the sweetest nuzzle as if to say, “Thank you!” Well, either that or, “Why did you stop?”
Commenters couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the doctor working with the long-necked creature.
“Giraffe chiropractor is A JOB?!” wrote one user.
Another added, “Why wasn’t this presented to me in career day?”
Technically, Dr. Whitley works with a variety of animals as a chiropractor, not just giraffes. However, we can’t get enough of the adorable footage he captured while treating this creature!
