After this man rescued a hummingbird who had collided with a window, he seems to have made a new feathered friend! A TikToker recently shared the most adorable footage of the little bird waking up in his hand after the accident. Although the animal was dazed, they were otherwise ok. However, they weren’t in a big hurry to fly away. In fact, the little critter seemed pretty attached to the man who had saved him!
In the video, the rescued hummingbird refused to leave their perch on the human’s finger. When they finally did take off, they ended up flying right back onto the man’s shoulder!
“Am I a Disney princess?” the TikToker joked in his clip.
Since it didn’t seem like the bird was going anywhere anytime soon, the guy decided to give them a name. He called the critter Windex!
Of course, all good things eventually come to an end. Once the hummingbird was sufficiently recovered, they finally left the scene of the rescue and flew off on their own. It was a bittersweet goodbye!
