Niall Horan & John Legend Team Up To Create Harmonic Bliss On “The Voice” Stage.

A two-photo collage. The first shows a close up of Niall Horan looking into the camera as he sings. The second photo shows a close up of John Legend singing into a mic as he plays the piano.

As a fan of Niall Horan since his One Direction days, it’s been a joy to watch him grow as an artist over the years. His latest album, The Show, has been a big hit, with the title track being one of my favorites. The deluxe version of the album includes a version of the song featuring John Legend. So, when Horan and Legend took this version of The Show to The Voice stage, fans like myself were elated!

Keeping with the theme of the song, and the album as a whole, the stage is covered with massive red curtains, just like the ones you’d expect to see at a theatre. Niall stands alone in the center of the stage, lights focusing on him as he starts the song.

Horan and Legend Harmonize in The Show on The Voice

The camera closes in on Horan and, from here, we can see that the red in the curtains extend to a lush, red carpet on the floor. Then, in an instant, the curtain draws back to reveal Legend playing the piano as he begins the second verse.

This isn’t the first time that coaches on The Voice have joined forces musically, but there’s something about this particular song that highlights just how beautifully Horan and Legend’s voices go together.

“Niall is just getting better with age,” one fan wrote. “Always loved his voice, my favorite from 1D. John Legend sounded great like always as well.”
