NFL Player Brings His Blind Mom The Football Every Time He Scores A Touchdown.

DHop's mom is proud to receive his touchdown ball.

Pro football player DeAndre Hopkins has plenty of people cheering him on, but his biggest fan has to be his mom! Sabrina Greenlee was blinded by acid at 30, so she’s never actually seen her son play in the NFL. However, her condition hasn’t stopped her from attending his games. A sweet TikTok video shows how the athlete would often rush over to his mom after scoring a touchdown and give her the ball!

According to Newsweek, it was Greenlee’s injury that inspired him to become a better player. Since his mom couldn’t see him win, Hopkins, aka, “DHop,” came up with another way to make her proud.

“I’m trying to make every catch so my momma can hear my name as much as possible,” he said, recalling his high school football career.

Just as Sabrina Greenlee is proud of her son, DeAndre Hopkins is also proud of his mom! Not only did she survive the attack that left her blind, but she also started a charity to help women who are victims of violence. It’s called S.M.O.O.O.T.H. Inc.

DHop isn’t the only NFL player out there doting on his mom. This professional football player gave his mother one of the most thoughtful gifts ever!

Watch the video below to see DeAndre Hopkins show his mom some appreciation in the sweetest way.
