Flintz and T4ylor have been making music together since early 2020, but the two of them didn’t perform together in person until their “Britain’s Got Talent” audition.
The two artists met on Instagram at the start of the pandemic. After chatting for a bit, they learned that they “bounced off each other’s vibe,” especially when it came to music. To help them prepare for their BGT audition, Taylor sent over some of the music he created with his piano so that Flintz could write the lyrics.
Like most artists, Flintz was inspired by his own life. As someone who hasn’t always gone down the best paths, he’s learned a thing or two about finding your way in life, in large part with the help of his parents. However, his biggest inspiration for writing this song came from his desire to help his younger brothers make better decisions than he did growing up.
Based on the crowd and the judges responses, we think these talented young men can say “mission accomplished!”
