She decided her child’s best chance was through adoption, but she missed her baby every day for the next 34 years.

“At the age of 16, I gave a baby girl up for adoption…34 years later, after my youngest daughter expressed a deep desire to meet her sister, I began searching more intently. She had been searching for me, for many years, more so after her adoptive mother passed away 11 years prior.
Her Adoptive father passed away when she was 5, and she just wanted to find any family she had. I had made attempts throughout the 34 years but kept hitting brick walls, red tape, etc. When I found her, and made contact, we exchanged information, and there were details of the adoption that only she could have known…and I knew it was her.
After the first phone call to her we spoke on the phone numerous times and began building a relationship. She and my youngest daughter planned a surprise visit and we met face to face for the first time.”
