We’ve shared some incredible stories with you about about singers with unexpected voices! There was this soldier who perfectly nailed a cover of Rihanna’s “Stay,” and there was the man who sang both the male and female parts of “The Prayer” flawlessly… but the singer in the video below might have the most unexpected voice of all!

The singer is Enkh-Erdene Otgonbat, a Mongolian college student, and the performance is his first audition on Mongolia’s Got Talent. He explains to the cameras that he wants to compete on the show because he loves singing so much, he never wants to stop! His parents weren’t always supportive of his dreams as a singer, but since they had a change of heart he’s decided to go for it and audition!

“If you can enjoy what you’re doing, that’s the greatest profession,” he says. “Regardless of your occupation.”

But it isn’t enough to just enjoy singing. To make it on to a show like Mongolia’s Got Talent, you have to prove your pipes!During his interview there are moments when he is fidgeting from nervousness. But once the young singer opens his mouth, he definitely proves he has what it takes!

Enkh-Erdene covers an unlikely song, George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning,” and totally nails it! It looks like the song is dubbed… but it isn’t! That’s really his voice!

Unsurprisingly, the audition earned 4 “yes’s” and eventually, the singer went on to win Mongolia’s Got Talent’s 2016 season.

Check out the video below to hear the unbelievable audition, and share!
