It’s tough to find good housing these days. Nicer places are too pricey. Affordable places are rundown, the landlord is uncooperative, or the neighbors are engaging in suspicious activities. But there are some good homes available, with a wholesome landlord, in a perfect place to raise a family. Krystal found one of those places three years ago, and she has no plans to move.

Introductions should come first. Krystal is a mother to three daughters and Mav, who is preschool age. Mav’s dad is trying to keep his older sisters from spoiling Mav rotten (it isn’t working well). The final family member isn’t really a family member, but she is. Remember that wholesome landlord? Her name is Judy, and she is like a Grandma. Judy knows that Mav loves throwing rocks into the small pond. You won’t believe what she did for that little boy.
That wonderful woman is why Krystal and her family have no intention to move. They have become a family of choice, enriching each other’s lives. Judy and Mav have a special relationship. They pal around together and do all sorts of crazy things together.
The world would be a perfect place if every landlord or neighbor were this wholesome! As her girls grow up and move on, Krystal is at home with Mav. Life never gets boring when you’re doing the things boy moms do. The girls are all at least a decade older than Mav, and they have spoiled him (as mentioned earlier).
But even as her nest empties a bit, her home stays full of love and smiles. The wholesome landlord-tenant-family relationship will continue and keep them all grounded. Relationships like this between special people should be cherished.
