Losing a loved one is never easy. When the loss is of a six-year-old child, it is more heartbreaking for the parents. TikTok user Tara Stilwell lost her son, Wilder Brooks, on August 15, 2021. He was at his father’s home in Medford, Oregon, and was struck by a car. Through the years, Tara sometimes feels as if Wilder’s spirit is close. Because of these nagging feelings, Tara silently asked for a sign from her late son.

In the video, Tara discusses how she decided what would be the most definitive sign from her late son. After reading the book “Signs,” which recommends being specific in what you want to see, she tried to select a sign that would resonate with her son. Something from his six-year-old world. She settled on a Lego piece. Specifically, a red Lego in a place it didn’t belong.
It did not take long for Tara to receive the sign from her late son. It happened later that same day at her daughter’s ballet class. While watching the young dancers from the waiting area, she began speaking with another mom, whose child was doing a makeup class, so they weren’t regularly in this class. The woman had a son who was playing quietly with toy trucks.
The boy stood up and walked directly to Tara. He had a present for her. It was a single red Lego that he placed gently in her hand. While the exchange might have been a coincidence, Tara doesn’t think it was.
Did Tara Receive A Sign From Her Late Son?
We may never know for sure if the red Lego offered to Tara was a sign from her late son, Wilder. Authors Bill and Judy Guggenheim make a strong case for signs from beyond in their book, “Hello From Heaven!” According to them, there are 12 different types of communication from the deceased.
Tara described “feeling a presence” one day and believing it was Wilder. And later, she received the red Lego in an unusual place. Both types of encounters are included in the Guggenheim’s book. The book presents the idea that these encounters are more common than we think.
Whether we believe or not is of no consequence for Tara. She believes. For her, these meaningful encounters offer solace. Some people attribute the sight of a cardinal or dragonfly to the presence of a deceased loved one. People have a broad spectrum of varying beliefs and differing levels of psychic awareness. Those more attuned to the astral plane might be more sensitive to the signs we receive.
