Mom Shares Heartwarming Advice With Other Parents Whose Kids Have Limb Differences.

Nicole Edwards in hospital after having baby Sage.

When life throws us a curveball, it’s natural to be scared, worried, or even angry.

Nicole Edwards felt a wild range of emotions when her daughter, Sage, was born without her right hand. The limb difference was caused by amniotic band syndrome, and Nicole was extremely worried because she had no knowledge about limb differences before Sage was born.

One year later, Nicole has discovered that her daughter is as loving, energetic, and capable as any other infant. Not only that, but Nicole’s views on limb differences have completely changed. She decided to make a TikTok video for other parents whose kids have birth differences differences, and it’s going viral for all the right reasons.

“It’s going to be okay,” she assures other parents. “Your child is going to be happy and you just need to be there to support them and love them.”

Above all else, Nicole urges parents not to limit their kids, but to let them explore their world just as any other child would! Watch her sweet video below, and don’t forget to share.
