Mom Gushes Over Miranda Lambert’s Kindness To Daughter Battling Brain Cancer, “She Never Stopped Smiling”

Close up of Miranda Lambert as she stands in front of a mic. Her head is turned slightly as she looks out into the crowd.

According to the Make-A-Wish website, their organization grants a wish to a critically ill child every 34 minutes in the U.S. and its territories. In order to make that happen, countless folks need to be involved. You’ll often find celebrities taking part in these wishes, Miranda Lambert included. Over the years, the country star has made quite a few wishes come true. In fact, she recently made a post online in honor of World Wish Month.

“I’m always proud to partner with Make-A-Wish America to grant wishes to courageous kids with critical illnesses,” Lambert writes. “Their strength is inspiring.”

Anyone who has ever loved someone with cancer understands how much of an impact it has on someone’s life. This includes Lambert, whose mom battled breast cancer just a couple of years ago. This experience, no doubt, adds to why she feels so passionately about the foundation.

Miranda Lambert Shows Her Support For the Make-A-Wish Foundation

When children undergo such heartbreaking illnesses, it can be so difficult to maintain the hope needed to carry on. That’s why Make-a-Wish was created: Each wish granted helps ignite a “spark” in children who need it the most. If any proof is needed, just look at the way a child lights up when Lambert grants their wish. In fact, a mom of one of these kids left a sweet comment on Lambert’s post, detailing what meeting the star meant to her daughter.

Facebook comment from Kim Curfman Roll: Thank you for making our daughter’s wish come true. You and your staff went out of your way to make her feel special. Fighting brain cancer as a teenager has been very hard on her. But she never stopped smiling that weekend, for that we will forever be grateful!!!

How incredible is that? By taking the time out of her day to meet with this sweet fan, Lambert was able to leave a lasting impact. It’s no wonder she’s so passionate about working with the organization!
