To Steven Gauld, the event captured in the video below is commonplace in his family’s U.K. home: His wife, Kristina, singing to their four-month-old daughter, Iyla. He never expected the clip would capture the hearts of millions.
It isn’t a silly nursery rhyme or jingle Kristina’s singing; rather, she channels Ariel herself as she softly croons a spot-on version of “Part Of Your World,”from the beloved Disney classic, The Little Mermaid.

Young Iyla is thoroughly mesmerized, not only because all babies love being sung to, but because Mom has such an incredible voice (which she says was honed during all the Disney duets she sang with her sister when they were kids). This adorable baby girl never once breaks eye contact during the entire 1:23 song, although she does grace us with a few of those goofy yet irresistible baby grins that never fail to melt even the coldest of hearts!

I’ve had thousands of heart warming messages from people all over the world, and a fair few people asking me to sing more songs haha. Maybe one day I’ll make another video. It’s incredible. I never expected to get the response from what I see as just an ordinary night interacting with my baby girl.
