Prince Harry arrived in the United Kingdom earlier this week solo. After originally planning to travel with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, he reportedly had a change of heart amid security concerns. On July 9, 2026, The Telegraph reported Meghan will travel to the UK with their children. However, they will not make any public appearances as a family. The visit will mark the family’s first visit back to the prince’s homeland in more than four years. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated permanently to California in 2020.

It’s Unclear if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Will Visit His Family
Though Meghan Markle will join Prince Harry with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, it remains to be seen whether there will be a family reunion. Harry has expressed his desire to improve his relationship with King Charles. The last time they were all together was in 2022. A source told People the visit was a success.
“It was a fantastic visit. The prince was delighted to see his grandson and meet his granddaughter for the first time,” a royal source said at the time.
“It was very special to have some time with him. He hadn’t met Lilibet, his granddaughter, and so to meet her for the first time was very emotional — it was a wonderful thing,” the source added.
Whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will take the time to visit King Charles and let him meet his grandchildren remains to be seen. It’s unclear when Meghan will arrive with Prince Archie and Princess Charlotte, but insiders believe it will be soon.
