No matter how badly your day is going, the sight of a smiling Pomeranian driving a tiny car is a tonic for the soul.

Koda the Fluff is a 7-year-old licensed therapy dog from Orlando, Florida. Owner Jena says she started bringing Koda to nursing homes, police stations, and fire stations back in 2020, and the little dog’s cool trick of “driving” a red convertible never failed to bring smiles wherever she went.
When the therapy duo was sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic, Jena relied on making videos of Koda to keep spreading joy, but from a safe distance.
“Koda and I have been doing super fun videos for a while now, just to make people happy, and we started doing pet therapy visits in hospitals and local businesses, but when the pandemic hit, we kind of shut all that down,” Jena explained. “So we thought that using the videos would be a cool way to reach a lot of people rather than just the people we were visiting.”
“Koda driving around in her car is nothing but pure, saturated happiness,” Jena added.
Each video features Koda driving her little car with the radio pumping out feel-good songs. You can see people’s faces light up as she rolls past them! Her videos are a form of “digital pet therapy” Jena hopes will relieve stress and promote a positive mindset, even when isolated from others.
Jena has started a nonprofit called Smiles Fur Miles, Inc., and Koda is the founding member! The program involves adding more trained therapy pets to drive tiny cars like Koda’s. This adorable fleet of miniature cars and four-legged drivers will visit first responders, businesses, schools, and police departments.
Koda often works with police departments to make fun and educational videos about being a good community member, driving rules, and general safety.
We cannot handle this much cuteness in one place! The car! The sunglasses! That smiling Pomeranian face! It’s no wonder this pup has become such a popular therapy dog, both on the web and off.
