Charmaine Blessman loves McDonald’s and has been visiting the same Hinsdale, Illinois, location for decades. The staff all know and love Charmaine. When they learned their favorite customer would soon turn 95, they knew they wanted to do something extra special.

“Turning 95 really is a big deal,” McDonald’s employee Cynthia Murillo told NBC Chicago. “We all came together to make it special for her. One of my co-workers baked the cake. Charmaine is amazing.”
Charmaine Blessman Loved Her McDonald’s Birthday Celebration
The birthday girl told NBC Chicago there was only one thing missing from her McDonald’s birthday celebration.
“Everyone is grinning at me, how can I not feel good?” Charmaine said. “I loved my husband and wish he could be here with us. We had 62 years together.”
Jim Blessman, Charmaine’s nephew, shared a video from the celebration on Facebook, and it tickled so many of his friends.
“This is so VERY special!! Thank you for sharing, Lee. Mom Happy Birthday for me!!! Happy Birthday Mrs. B!!” Someone shared.
“Happy birthday Mrs. Blessman. What an amazing milestone,” another person added.
Just seeing Charmaine Blessman celebrating her birthday at McDonald’s made people smile.

According to the news story, Charmaine orders the same thing every time she’s there. For Charmaine, the perfect McDonald’s order is a two-hamburger meal with extra onions, fries, and a Diet Coke or coffee. We’re not sure if that’s the secret to staying young, but it’s ceratining work for Charmaine. Perhaps we all need to celebrate our birthdays with Ronald and friends. Charmaine Blessman just might be onto something with the return of the McDonald’s birthday party. But we want the giant tub of orange drink at our party.
