Blind Man Brings “Australia’s Got Talent” To Tears With Loyal Guide Dog Beside Him.

From the moment Matt McLaren stepped onto the “Australia’s Got Talent” stage, it was clear he wasn’t a typical contestant.

Matt was born blind, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a successful performer in Newcastle, South Wales, for the past decade. After all, he started playing the piano and creating his own music when he was just a toddler!

The gifted musician is now a fixture on the entertainment circuit in his region and always performs with his trusty guide dog by his side! After all these years of hard work, he decided he was ready to take his career to the next level by competing on “Australia’s Got Talent.”

In a moving video, we see that judges Sophie Monk, Kelly Osbourne, Ian Dickson, and Eddie Perfect are instantly impressed when Matt sings the opening lines of John Legend’s “All of Me.”

His voice is filled with emotion as he croons the tender love song, accompanying himself seamlessly on his signature red keyboard. He plays using nothing but muscle memory, keeping effortless control over the numerous buttons, knobs, and keys on the instrument.

It doesn’t take long for his heartfelt performance to bring Monk to tears!

When Matt completes his masterpiece, all four judges immediately give him a standing ovation. Then Monk tells him, “I don’t think there’s a dry eye in the room right now!

I feel like somebody just drop-kicked me in the heart. It was unbelievable. It was so emotional, the way you sang it was beautiful. It’s one of my favorite songs and it was lovely for me. Thank you.

Meanwhile, Perfect admires how deftly Matt plays his instrument, saying, “See, I play the keyboard, and I can see every single one of those knobs, and I still don’t know what to do with them.”

That’s when Matt receives the greatest compliment the show can offer: All four judges give him a resounding yes!

What extraordinary talent! Matt has overcome so much to get where he is today, and we can’t wait to see how high his career will soar!
