Staff Sgt. York and his 4 year old son Bryson are absolutely inseparable. Every time Sgt. York leaves the house, Pricilla York’s heart breaks watching their son stare out the window and shed a few tears.”They have an incredible bond,” Priscilla York, 33, told TODAY. “If this happens when his dad leaves for just a few hours, I can only imagine how hard it’s going to be when he leaves for deployment.”

Sgt. York has been serving in the states since he and his wife had their son Bryson. The duo does everything together, so with York’s overseas deployment approaching quickly, the awesome dad knew he had to give his son a memory of their time together. He decided to celebrate every holiday he would miss while overseas with Bryson in 10 short days.

York spent the previous day handing out candy to all of his neighbors so they could go trick or treating together.

He also got Santa to come to their New Bern, North Carolina, home early so Bryson could wake up with presents under the tree, just like on Christmas morning.
