One of his biggest fans is Joycelun, who has suffered from Cystic Fibrosis all her life. The disease is a very serious genetic illness that “affects mostly the lungs but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine. Long-term issues include difficulty breathing and coughing up mucus as a result of frequent lung infections.”
For such a young kid, it would be hard to keep your head up all of the time and not get caught in negative thoughts about your situation. So, when Manny heard about Joycelun, he wanted to travel all the way to New Orleans to brighten her day! And brighten her day he did.
Joycelun was beyond excited to see the cute Frenchie and get to play (and have a conversation, funny enough)!
