Deciding to get a pet is a big decision… at least most of the time.
Even after doing tons of research, budgeting, and weighing the pros and cons, when it comes down to it, the pets we end up bringing into our homes are the ones who chose us rather than the other way around. This is something that Tucker Lindgren either learned or was reminded of through a recent first-hand experience.
His plan was simple: Go to PAWS Chicago to help a friend pick out a pet (emphasis on helping a friend.) His friend was the only person who planned on leaving with one of the animal shelter’s precious creatures – Tucker’s friend and his friend only.
At least that’s what Tucker told himself before heading out of his home. Little did he know, however, that a special little kitten would soon have other plans for him.

Tucker’s experience, as he’d soon learn from the thousands of people on social media who have interacted with his TikTok, is one that many find relatable. Plus, there were lots of requests for an update on how the two of them are getting along. After only a day, he was happy to report that he and his cute kitten couldn’t be a better match!

Even though Tucker hadn’t planned on taking home a new pet that day, this affectionate little feline had other plans – and clearly made a compelling argument!
