Man Trapped In Car Captures Footage As Terrifying Kansas Tornado Engulfs Him

Mother Nature has sent some pretty wicked storms to a significant portion of the United States in the last few weeks. Recently, tornadoes ripped through Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee, leaving unimaginable destruction in their wake. Aden Basgall found himself in the middle of a tornado in Grinnell, Kansas, and decided to start recording. He captured incredible video of the storm that nearly took his life. Aden shouted, “We just got saved by God.” ABC News shared the footage on Instagram, and followers could hardly believe their eyes. It truly seemed as if a guardian angel wrapped itself around Aden’s car.

The Tornado Devastated The Town

“A man from Kansas captured the moment a confirmed tornado ripped through the city of Grinnell while he was trapped in his car,” ABC News shared on Instagram.

The footage captivated followers.

“He wasn’t blown away?! The Lord was certainly with him, that’s for sure,” someone wrote.

Of course, there were jokes when people learned the tornado was in Kansas. “Auntie em. Auntie em,” someone wrote.

This person experienced a similar terrifying event. “This happened to me and it was one of the most scariest time in my life,” they wrote.

Others couldn’t believe Aden went out in a tornado. “Some people just don’t learn when they tell u to stay indoors or to be weather aware when it comes to severe weather,” an Instagrammer wrote.

“Wow! Very lucky that tornado wasn’t strong enough to shatter the windshield or pick up the car with him in it,” another person agreed.

This person didn’t agree with Aden’s plan. “He wasn’t trapped, he CHOSE to be there, there’s a difference.”

This person thought the footage was just incredible. “How does it feel to be that close to one of the most powerful and deadliest force mother nature can produce! Jeez man.. I can almost feel the emotion from here!”
