After meeting this dog, however, we have a new eyebrow icon to consider. Her name is Madame Eyebrows! Don’t reach for the tweezers just yet because her brow game is on point.
Madame Eyebrows is an English bulldog from Germany whose famously thick, expressive eyebrows have made her an internet star for the past few years. More than 134,000 people follow her on Instagram for regular updates on the thick-browed pooch, and there’s no shortage of hilarious pictures of her grumpy face to choose from.
Like Grumpy Cat before her, Madame Eyebrows is beloved for the perpetually annoyed and disappointed look on her face.
No matter what she’s doing or how much she’s enjoying herself, Madame Eyebrows looks like the Debbie Downer of the party. In spite of her dour expressions, her mom Janina said she’s actually a sweet dog who’s cheerful most of the time.
“She is very happy,” Janina told The Dodo. “She wiggles her tail, gives kisses.”
Once you get to know her, Madame Eyebrows is a total lovebug who adores her human and animal family. She only looks upset; she’s really having the time of her life!
“In real life, you have to see her only a few minutes and you see that she is happy,” Janina added. “We don’t see only her sad face. We see how funny she is! And how much love she gives to us.”
These are the cutest, funniest eyebrows we’ve ever seen on a dog. She is truly the canine embodiment of Grumpy Cat, and we love everything about her.
