Nurse Launches Adorable “Attack” To Make Sick Little Boy’s Day.

When “Little Levi” Krystosek was born, doctors were confused by his symptoms. For weeks and then months after his birth, his parents had to care for him as well as they could until they finally got an accurate diagnosis.

It turned out their little one had been battling Jansen’s metaphyseal chondrodysplasia. The degenerative disease is very rare. Levi is one of only 30 cases documented worldwide, and his condition is characterized by the weakening of his skeletal structure.

Kids with JMC have a short stature and a waddling gait, and they often struggle with the stiffening and swelling of their joints. As such, Little Levi frequents the hospital.

It was during one of his rehab sessions at AI duPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, that the cutest moment occurred.

His nurse, a woman named Rachel, knows just how hard this journey has been for Levi, and she was determined to bring a smile to his face. One day, she handed him a Nerf gun and told him to get ready for battle.

Levi’s reaction? Priceless!

Though his young life has been filled with challenges, Levi has managed to keep a smile on his face and love in his heart. Thanks to nurses like Rachel, he is able to have fun at the same time!
