In the Catholic Church, many people receive their First Holy Communion in second grade. It’s an extremely special and exciting time for Catholic children. The girls typically wear white dresses, and the boys dress spiffily in ties and sports coats. During the sacrament, they receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ for the first time. It’s important to understand that church law requires the wine to be made from naturally fermented grapes and uncorrupted with any chemicals or preservatives. Stefanie Heidebrink’s Daughter Took Her First Holy Communion Seriously
Stefanie posted a video of her daughter, Brynley, receiving her First Holy Communion in 2022. The little girl approached the priest, who first offered her the Body of Christ. After placing that in her mouth, Brynley next took the Blood of Christ from the priest. If you’ve been to a Catholic mass, you may know that the entire congregation takes tiny sips from community chalices so that everyone can partake in the Blood of Christ. Apparently, Brynley wasn’t aware. When it was her turn, she took the chalice, and she sipped and sipped and sipped. The priest’s eyes widened in the most hilarious way. It’s not clear if she finished the whole thing, but Brynley definitely made the most of her First Holy Communion, and people loved it.
“May her innocence shines as Christ was pierced on His side where blood and water shone for us to know the truth. Absolutely Adorable!” Someone prayed.
“She is definitely going to places,” a comment predicted. “lots of love.”
“This is so funny. She looks wobbly already,” another person joked.
Seeing the sweet First Holy Communion filled this person’s heart.
