It can be hard to maintain friendships as adults, but little kids don’t seem to have that problem with their best friends. One parent shared the most adorable video of their son reuniting with his buddy, and his reaction was too precious! As soon as the little boy saw his friend in the distance, he started shouting his name and running toward him. Then, the two kids hugged as though they hadn’t seen each other in years!
In the clip, the parent explained that these best friends had been separated for a few months. When you’re a little kid, that may as well be a lifetime! The cute reunion footage has been going viral online, and commenters thought the encounter was incredibly sweet.

According to the video, the boy’s parent captured the moment sometime in 2020. It’s possible that the two kids couldn’t see each other because of social distancing regulations. If that was the case, it’s no wonder that these best friends hugged each other so hard they almost fell over!
Everyone knows how much it hurts to be separated from the people we love. We’re so glad that these best friends got their reunion!
