Coaching kids to play their best is its own reward, but one little football player still thought his coach deserved more recognition. Jayden gave his mentor a sweet present: a personalized travel mug with his name on it. Then, he read aloud a special “thank you” letter he’d written just for his favorite coach. The sweet moment was caught on camera and shared to Facebook by Humankind.
“You have been the greatest coach in my life,” the boy read, “I love you, Richard!”
As he reached the end of his letter, Jayden got emotional, starting to cry. Richard was clearly moved by the whole gesture, and quickly wrapped the child up in a sweet hug.
