Lindsey Vonn had a catastrophic accident at Milano Cortina 2026. Crews airlifted the Olympic gold medalist from the slopes and took her for treatment of a serious fracture. Lindsey Vonn’s injury, coupled with compartment syndrome, nearly caused her to lose her leg. Lindsey Vonn worked extremely hard for months to heal and strengthen her body, and that showed on May 4, 2026. She showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the annual Met Gala looking like a supermodel, and fans cannot believe her recovery.
