When he was born, a chimpanzee named Limbani had pneumonia and was rejected by his mother. Thankfully, the Zoological Wildlife Foundation took him in and connected him with Jorge and Tania Sanchez, who provided the baby with around-the-clock care as he recovered. Without their help, he wouldn’t have survived.
These days, Limbani is thriving at the foundation, where Jorge and Tania are still able to visit him. Much like a little kid reuniting with their grandparents, whenever the couple comes to see Limbani, he squeals with excitement before leaping into their arms and giving them the best hugs in the world!
