Lily Gladstone Makes Golden Globes History With Best Actress Award.

Talented and powerful actress Lily Gladstone has made history as the first indigenous actor to ever win a Golden Globe. She gave an incredible speech at the show, celebrating the historic moment.

Lily won the award for her epic performance in Killers of the Flower Moon, the newest Martin Scorsese film.

Lily began her speech by speaking in the native Blackfeet language that she was taught as a child. She acknowledged that she wasn’t fluent, but had access to the language because of her mother’s dedication.

“This is a historic one, and it doesn’t belong to just me,” Lily Gladstone noted as she began discussing the power of this Golden Globe award.

She shed light on the other Indigenous women involved in the film and thanked her mother. She also shared gratitude with many of the other folks who worked on the film, like Leonardo DiCaprio.
