Legendary Bear Grylls Surprises Young Transplant Survivor With Epic Adventure.

Survivalist Bear Grylls is always up for a challenge, but for this one, he brought along a new friend.

Cameron Williams is young but, as a kidney transplant survivor, he’s already been through quite a lot. With the help of Make A Wish and Duracell, he was able to fulfill a massive dream of his: To go on an adventure with Grylls himself. Best of all, Cameron had no idea what was in store for him!

The day started off with Cameron waiting in a field. Soon enough, Grylls announced via walkie talkie that he was there to spend the day with him and that his chopper was about to land — talk about a grand entrance!

From there, these two adventurers investigated an abandoned building before taking a tasty snack break… just kidding! This is Grylls we’re talking about so, naturally, they snacked on a couple of worms. They didn’t seem to mind them much, though!

“I think you’re pretty amazing, and you’re going to go on and do so many great things in your life,” Grylls said. “And also, so many people are going to see your story and think, ‘If he can keep going and keep smiling through that then so can I.'”

As sad as it was for their adventure to come to an end, we have a feeling this won’t be the last time these two chat —Grylls gave Cameron his phone number so he can call him anytime!

Watch Cameron and Grylls enjoy the great outdoors in the video below, and don’t forget to share.
