Blind Boy With Autism Leads 150 Kids In Song. His Powerful Rendition Of “Lean On Me” Is Simply Beautiful.

Christopher Duffley was born a miracle. He was born prematurely, weighing barely a pound. He had cocaine in his system, transferred to his tiny body from his mother. Doctors were unsure he’d even make it through his first day on earth.

But little Christopher did make it. Christopher is now a teenager, and he is certainly alive and impacting the world. Since birth, Christopher has been blind and has had autism, but he is fearless. He loves singing, and he shares his gift freely with the world in this video. And it is a beautiful, beautiful gift.

With the 150 kids from Nashville’s World Outreach Church Kid’s Choir backing him up, Christopher performed the emotional song, “Lean On Me,” with confidence and talent. He has a great ear, great voice, and sings the lyrics with conviction and heart.

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there’s always tomorrow

In the three years since Christopher sang this number, he has made several television appearances, released two albums, even started a podcast. There is no limit to what this young man can do.
