Last night, Kristen Bell took over Jimmy Kimmel Live while Jimmy took some time to be with his family, including his newborn baby. Kristen joked that she was “subbing” for Kimmel, but she also made it clear that– since she was the host– she could do whatever she wanted with the show. So, she decided to play a little game with the audience… that had a surprise twist ending!

Kristen– who starred in the box-office hit Frozen— “randomly” selected two audience members and sent them on a mission to find a person dressed as Kristoff, a character from the film. She told the two girls that whoever brought Kristoff to her first would win a Frozen-themed prize.
One of the girls, Sara, quickly found Kristoff and triumphantly returned to the studio. Little did she know, there was more to this Kristoff than met the eye.

Kristen confessed to the audience that Sara’s competition was actually an actress, and Sara wasn’t randomly chosen for the game after all!

It turns out, a high schooler named Michael has a big crush on Sara, so he reached out to Kristen to help him ask her to prom in the most epic way ever! Michael, Kristen, and Sara’s parents all collaborated to pull off the epic promposal below, complete with a musical number.
