King’s Guard Breaks Protocol To Give Teen With Special Needs An Unforgettable Experience.

A teen with special needs is allowed to pet the King's Guard horse.

Although you might think of the King’s Guard and their horses as one of the many tourist attractions to see while visiting London, they’re not there for our entertainment. They have an important job to do, and it doesn’t involve posing for photos! That’s why one video of the King’s Guard taking the time to give a teen with special needs the experience of a lifetime is going viral. They don’t do that for everyone!

In the heartwarming footage, a teen boy with special needs approaches a member of King’s Guard and his horse. The young man gently strokes the animal’s nose, which is usually frowned upon. However, instead of reprimanding the boy, the guard actually directed his horse to get closer. The teen couldn’t have been more excited to have such a special interaction with the creature!

Many tourists have been yelled at by the King’s Guard for getting close to their horses, the Daily Mail says. In some cases, the animals have even nipped at people who overstepped their boundaries!

While the King’s Guard clearly doesn’t want tourists to get too friendly with their horses, the guard in the viral video could probably tell that the boy meant no harm. It was so sweet of him to let the special needs teen have a moment with the animal!
