As far as King Charles was concerned, a reunion with Prince Harry would only happen if Queen Camilla could also attend. The family reportedly reunited on July 10 at Highgrove House, according to People. Buckingham Palace confirmed a reunion that included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet. Royal author Catherine Mayer told People the King and Queen Consort are a team.

King Charles Demanded No One Release Details About His Reunion with Prince Harry
The royal family met in private, and King Charles reportedly allowed Buckingham Palace to confirm the meeting after Prince Harry and his family left Highgrove House.
“It is better that people don’t know anything about these meetings,” a source told People. “They should be allowed to rekindle those family ties.”
Whether they like it or not, Harry and Meghan Markle will never be able to truly break their royal ties. Even though they live in California, Prince Harry will always be King Charles and Princess Diana’s son. His bloodline and that of his children does not change.
Mayer explained that even though the royal family lives a very different life than most, at their hearts they are humans and we need to give them grace.
“One of the strangenesses of the monarchy is that we are all encouraged to forget they’re human beings because they’re representatives of the institution,” Mayer said. “But at its heart it is just a family — and this family has gone through extraordinary upheavals. Whatever you think of the monarchy, this is a moment most of us wanted to see happen.”
