The night Ms. Buehne met the man she would marry, she was sure he had stood her up. Buehne and her friends were having a group blind date with a few guy friends at a local restaurant. But when the gentleman in question, Brett, walked through the door Buehne was smitten immediately.
The group of friends had a great time together despite Brett’s tardiness. When the young man offered Buehne a ride home, she quickly accepted. From that moment on the duo were inseparable. The couple endured through their college years and drew closer every day. Their relationship was really something special.
In the video below, we find Ms. Buehne surrounded by her class of kindergarteners for a very special occasion. Under the guise of a school sponsored award for teachers that went above and beyond, Ms.Buehne was about to get the surprise of a lifetime.
A video started playing and students popped up on the screen holding a heart with a key in the middle of it. Every student gave their definition of love. They began their sentence with “Love is….”. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful.
Ms. Buehne thought things seemed a little fishy… and that’s when her beloved Brett walked out onto the stage. Check out what happens next in the video below!
