Kevin Costner has found a new “love,” and he has giant paws, a wagging tail, and perfect puppy dog eyes.
The Oscar-winning actor and director has admittedly been struggling to move on after his contemptuous divorce from Christine Baumgartner, whom he was married to for 20 years. In the months since the separation, there have been rumors that he’s dating singer Jewel. But, neither star will officially confirm the relationship.
However, Kevin has had no trouble gushing about his floppy-eared love, Bobby, whom he welcomed to “the family” earlier this year. The yellow lab has seemingly become Kevin’s right-hand man and even has director’s chair privileges on the set of Horizon.
Kevin Costner recently posted pictures of the adorable puppy hanging out in Kevin’s monogrammed seat as filming of the franchise’s third installment kicks off. Bobby looks absolutely adorable while he makes sweet faces for the camera and dons a pair of puppy socks on his paws.
“Bobby Update: He’s a natural on set,” Kevin captioned.
The Dances With Wolves actor has been sharing glimpses of Bobby over the months. When he first brought him home, Bobby was a tiny puppy full of zoomies and cuddles, according to some of the most precious photos.
Kevin Costner has been a major animal advocate throughout his career and has teamed up with The Orange Dog in the past to rescue dogs from overcrowded shelters.
In 2010, he and his other four-legged best friend Daisy earned praise when they used a private jet to fly dogs from over-burdened shelters in California to Canada where they had better chances of finding forever homes.
