Kelly Clarkson’s Competitive Side Comes Out During Musical Game With Jimmy Fallon.

Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon play a game on the "Tonight Show." Clarkson's mouth is agape and her eyes are wide. Fallon looks unsure as he looks to something off screen.

If you’ve ever heard of Kelly Clarkson, then you’re sure to know that she’s an absolutely phenomenal singer and songwriter. What you might not know, however, is just how competitive this Texas native can be when it comes to games. This fact came through in the best way possible during her recent appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Not only did they play a game, but it was an entirely new one for the talk show.

Titled “Back That Track Up,” Clarkson and Fallon were tasked with naming the songs that were played for them — the trick, though, was that the songs would be played backwards, making them difficult to identify. Both players gave it their all but, by the last round, Clarkson was falling behind.

Luckily for Clarkson, the last song was worth 10 points, making it anyone’s game. Not only could she not guess the song, but her inability to do so was so incredibly devastating (for personal reasons) that she jokingly waved “goodnight” to the audience, nearly reaching the exit before returning, officially defeated.
