Keanu Reeves Is Giving Someone A Virtual Date With Him To Support Children With Cancer.

More than a few Keanu Reeves fans would jump at the chance to take the 55-year-old on a date – and now they can!

Besides being a movie star, the “Matrix” and “John Wick” actor is also a huge supporter of various charities, especially when it comes to pediatric cancer. His sister Kim battled leukemia for a decade before she entered remission, which inspired him to set up a foundation in her honor. This month, Reeves is offering up his time to raise money for yet another charity!

Camp Rainbow Gold is an Idaho-based organization that provides “emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families.” Because of COVID-19, the charity had to cancel its upcoming fundraiser and opt for an online auction instead.

“We quickly realized we wouldn’t be the only ones moving our fundraiser to an online auction,” executive director Elizabeth Lizberg said. “We also realized after months at home, people are craving connections and experiences that are safe but fulfilling.”

So they found a wonderful prize! A private 15-minute Zoom call with Reeves himself during the second week of July!

The bidding started at $10,000 and has already nearly doubled. But it isn’t over yet! Bids will be accepted until June 22. All proceeds will go to Camp Rainbow Gold to help send young cancer patients on a fun week at camp!
