Kayakers Found A Man Flipped And Drowning, Their Instantaneous Rescue Is Remarkable.

Kayaking is one of the most dangerous water sports. And safety knowledge is critical.

Thankfully, that knowledge was able to be used in Wilson Creak, a National Wild and Scenic River located in the Pisgah National Forest near Collettesville, North Carolina. The scene was an off-the-cuff and dire situation.

It’s a bit hard to see the logistics of what’s going on, but basically, another kayaker “toppled over and his head became pinned beneath the surface of his kayak… luckily nearby kayakers Markham Shuskey, Corey Edwards, Jake Matheny, Michael Barbre, and Matt Dolian were out on the water that day. Michael and Matt quickly went into action and managed to rescue the man in the nick of time. Credit to Matt Dolian.”

Incredible!

Watch the ‘on the edge of your seat’ rescue in the video below.  Thank goodness.
