During the show, Katy helped make a few fans’ dreams come true by bringing them onstage with her. While handing out instruments to the chosen fans, a young girl named McKenna appeared to become overwhelmed with emotions. In that moment, McKenna fell to the ground, but Katy Perry never panicked and stayed right by her fan’s side. The Crowd Watched in Awe As Katy Perry Stayed By Her Young Fan’s Side
When McKenna experienced what appeared to be a fainting episode, Katy Perry never left her fan’s side. She helped to administer water and spoke sweetly to young McKenna.
Katy Perry even sent out a prayer for McKenna.
“Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen,” Katy prayed.
According to the Independent, Katy showed empathy for the situation.
“It’s so much,” she told the audience. “Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and it’s overwhelming. I understand that feeling.”
Fans quickly praised Katy Perry for caring for her fan and handling he situation with such grace.
“I’ve never seen any artist handle such situation better than katy perry did tonight, paused the show & stayed with the fan even after medics came,” someone share don X. “truly an angel!!!”
“From someone who faints a lot and has seizures her response is actually so healing because ik from my experiences most people freak out and don’t know what they are doing and seeing her react so quick and even trying to help before she fainted is so warming,” another person shared.
