Addiction is a dreadful disease that can affect anyone. It doesn’t discriminate and can cause entire families immeasurable grief. Luckily, there are many men and women who dedicate their lives to help others overcome these horrific demons. In the United Kingdom, The Forward Trust’s Southend Treatment and Recovery Service helps individuals overcome addiction with love and dignity. On September 24, 2025, Kate Middleton visited STARS and the Forward Garden. She shared photos and uplifting words about her visit.

The Forward Garden Speaks to Kate Middleton’s Love of Nature
Kate Middleton loves to be outside, and the Forward Garden is a place where others can find peace while on their recovery mission.
“Spending time in nature, learning new skills, and nurturing a shared garden is a reminder that recovery is rarely a journey made alone. Relationships, community and a sense of purpose can play an important role in helping people move forward. Like any journey of growth, recovery takes time, patience and support, but with these, resilience can grow, and new beginnings become possible,” she added.
Royal enthusiasts loved seeing Kate Middleton visiting the Forward Garden and being among the people.
