Chris Martin is an ordinary man with a pet dinosaur. It isn’t really a dinosaur. Louie is a French bulldog with a real love for masks. Since Chris discovered his dog’s love of Jurassic Park masks, he can’t keep his dog out of them.

Although it appears that Louie is growling and snapping at Chris, he lets his fans know that it is how he taught his dog to play while wearing the Jurassic Park masks.
Louie now has a collection of different dinosaur masks. The Dilophosaurus mask has double crests on the side of the head. The name means two-crested lizard.
Each mask has straps that keep it in place on Louie’s head. The masks have a movable lower mandible (jawbone). The mouth can open and close with the movements of Louie’s mouth. It adds realism to things when Louie uses the special growl.
One of their fans commented that they should paint a mask white and black to match Louie’s natural coloring. They did, then gave it to Louie for Christmas. His love for the mask was instant.
French bulldogs are small dogs. They are typically mild-mannered and calm animals that make good family dogs. The breed doesn’t bark much, so it is notable that Chris was able to teach him how to growl and act like a tough dinosaur. They are a favorite among apartment dwellers due to their size and temperament.
Most dogs are afraid of dinosaurs and will bark at them or run away, even if they’re only on TV. Not little Louie, who may be channeling some reincarnation vibes when he wears his Jurassic Park masks. He certainly acts like an authentic dinosaur.
