At 91, Julia Lewis is a master of celebrating special occasions. She recently demonstrated this when she reached her last day of physical therapy and rehab at Golden Age Home Health Care in Greenwood, Indiana, and couldn’t contain her joy!

As she wrapped up her exercises and was cleared by her therapist, Julia expressed how good she felt in the only way she knew how: by cutting a rug!
Staff members turned on Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” and stepped back so the nonagenarian could take the floor. With a huge smile on her face, Julia claimed “center stage” and showed off her moves in the most adorable way. In mere seconds, it became clear that this wasn’t her first time dancing!

Golden Age shared a video of the delightful event on Facebook, and it quickly went viral. From the facility’s message alone, it’s easy to see why!
Miss Julia is a longtime resident who recently returned from a hospital stay and is graduating from therapy services with Golden Age. She’s ditched the walker for her dancing shoes, and this morning, she said, ‘You’ve got me feeling so good, I want to dance! Do you mind if I do the jitterbug to celebrate? I’m loving life!’ Of course we don’t mind, Julia! We love it, and we’re all celebrating with you! Did we mention she’s 91 years young?
