The 44-year-old songstress took to Instagram on December 16th to tease her upcoming album. Along with a caption saying she “can’t wait” for everyone to hear “the soundtrack of my soul,” she posted a photo of herself in what appears to be a recording studio.

The picture shows Jessica Simpson channeling her 1970s diva with Brigitte Bardot-esque hair and makeup. She’s also wearing a white satin top and skirt paired with black fishnet pantyhose, a black jacket, and high-heeled cowboy boots.

Fans are Ready for Jessica Simpson’s Triumphant Return To Music

While some people threw some shade at Jessica Simpson’s new look, plenty of fans shared that they look forward to Jessica Simpson’s triumphant return to the music business. Furthermore, they love that she looks healthy, happy, and stylish.

This fan put it simply. “We are ready Queen!

Jessica Simpson hasn’t revealed when she’ll drop her album. But she announced the project on November 11 with another photo from Music City.

The last time Jessica released new music was in 2010 with her Holiday album Happy Christmas.
